Why a GoodRetreat? Why Now?
You’re already part of the shift.
You’ve been walking this path sometimes quietly, sometimes boldly… working from the inside out to bring more truth, care and responsibility into the world.
But even those who serve change need space to recharge, to go deeper, to be held in community, to reconnect with what’s next.
This retreat is for those already doing good and also for those just awakening to it. It’s for those who want to contribute more powerfully, more cleanly, more consciously.
This offers a place to refresh and re-source, to be inspired by others, to fundamentally change your relationship with thought and yourself and to unlock more of your innate potential.
Because the more connected you are to who you truly are, the more impact you can have in your life, in your leadership, and in the world.
If you would like to know more, let’s talk with no obligations or expectation….
These are extraordinary times, and this is an extraordinary retreat.
This retreat (running in November 2025 & March 2026) is for people who care deeply and are committed to change in themselves, their work, and the world.
Set in the mythic landscape of Glastonbury, the GoodRetreat offers space to slow down, think differently, and unlock more of your full potential within a like-hearted community.
It’s not about adding more. It’s about gaining insight on what’s going on and unleashing what’s inside.
This is your invitation to elevate your work in the world.

“Martin’s 3-day retreat has been the single most profound and impactful thing we’ve done in our 25 years in business” Ian Hambleton, eco-entrepreneur.

Why Glastonbury?
Why in Glastonbury?
Glastonbury is the place in the UK when it comes to energetic depth and ancient mysticism.
Until now, all GoodFest gatherings have taken place at the beautiful Bedruthan Hotel on the Cornish coast which is a stunning setting shaped by the wildness of sea and sky. It’s a place that holds power.
And for this retreat, we wanted a venue what is more intimate; a venue just for us; and a setting where nature doesn’t just soothe, it speaks.
So we chose Glastonbury… a landscape rich with myth, spirit, and quiet potency. It’s a place where time softens, where the everyday falls away, and where insights arise unforced.
This land fuels magic. It stirs something ancient within, the kind that fundamentally changes you.
Magic has a way of finding those who are ready for it. Are you ready to elevate all aspects of your life?

“To unleash your potential…
get out of your head, open your heart, tune into spirit, follow your gut.”
What You’ll Experience
This retreat is an invitation to slow down, not to escape life, but to meet it more fully.
Across the days together, you’ll rest and decompress from the pace and pressure of everyday leadership. You’ll reconnect with your inner wisdom, and with others walking a similar path. You’ll gain clarity on what really matters, and what wants to emerge next in your work, relationships or life.
We’ll combine stillness with movement, connection with solitude, depth with lightness, depth with the practical.
Here’s some examples of how people benefit:
A renewed sense of inner peace and resilience
Clearer about direction and purpose
Feeling more confident
Life-changing shifts in perspective
Clear about big decisions
A bolder more authentic leadership
Profound insight about dealing with difficult relationships
More at ease in how to live life
This isn’t about fixing. It’s about unleashing. It’s about being Unbounded.
What We’ll Do
This isn’t a tightly packed schedule. But it’s not a free-for-all either.
There’s structure and there’s flow. A rhythm that supports depth, while allowing space to breathe, reflect and be.
Over our days together, we’ll combine group conversation, personal reflection, and embodied practices, which are all designed to increase awareness, stretch your thinking, open your heart, and tune you back into your inner knowing.
You can expect:
Group dialogue, shared inquiry and guided exercises
Solo time to walk, write, or simply be
Morning practices to awaken body and mind
Meditation to quieten thought
Yoga to soften and strengthen
Sound healing to release what’s no longer needed
Breathwork to access deeper insight
Firepit evenings, sauna and ice bath to unwind and integrate
We’ll share delicious plant-based food. We’ll sit in circle. We’ll visit sacred places — the White Springs, the Tor, maybe even the Chalice Well. We’ll honour the land beneath our feet.
This is a space for transformation. Gently held, yet profoundly powerful.
Sambogaya retreat centre, Glastonbury, UK
What makes Sambogaya special is the energy it holds. It’s a quiet presence that invites honesty, stillness, and depth. It was created as a place to host transformative work, and it offers a powerful setting in which to slow down and come home to yourself.
You’re also within easy walking distance of the town, Glastonbury Tor, the Chalice Well gardens, and the rich mythic landscape that surrounds this unique place.
The Venue – Sambogaya
Sambogaya is a sanctuary nestled in the heart of Glastonbury, at the foot of Chalice Hill. Surrounded by sacred land and ancient trees, it offers a peaceful and nourishing space for restoration, contemplation and reconnection.
The venue includes a beautiful, light-filled group space, simple yet comfortable shared accommodation, and lovingly prepared plant-based meals sourced from local organic produce.

The Foundation: Quality of Mind
At the heart of this retreat is a deeper understanding of the mind and the human experience.
We draw from the principles of Quality of Mind, a powerful body of work that helps people reconnect with their innate clarity, creativity and wisdom. It points to what lies beneath the noise of overthinking and performance to the natural intelligence that arises when we drop into presence.
Rather than adding more techniques or strategies, this understanding helps you see through what’s in the way. Insight naturally follows.
Many people describe it as life-changing. Not because it gives them something new, but because it shows them something true. For more information, visit the Quality of Mind page.
Joining the Retreat
Our next GoodRetreats are 11–14 November 2025 and 3–6 March 2026 in Glastonbury, Somerset, UK.
Pricing is £2,600 (shared twin) or £3,000 (single room). This includes a personal intake call, a 3-day immersive retreat (including all meals & accommodation), and a post-retreat group call one month later.
While the pricing reflects the practicalities of creating this special space, the real return is something that can’t be priced. The insights, clarity, and inner shifts you experience here will ripple through your life and work in ways both measurable and immeasurable — long after the retreat has ended.
If you feel called to be part of this but are genuinely struggling with the price, please reach out for a conversation.
Numbers are limited to maintain depth and intimacy.
And this is less about numbers, more about resonance. It’s about trusting the deeper intelligence that brings the right people together, at the right time, for something special to unfold.
If you feel curious, we invite you to have a no-obligation conversation with Martin. By the end of the call, you’ll be clear if you’re a ‘full body yes’.
